About Ade
Founder Active M Advisory
Ade has more than a decade of compliance and leadership experience in Australia in relation to schools and tertiary sector registration, as well as occupational health and safety requirements.
Ade previously held the position of Director, Schools and Regional Operations in the Department of Education (Victoria), leading on school governance matters for Victorian government schools. Prior to the Director role, Ade worked at VRQA as the Manager, School Registration, overseeing compliance and regulatory functions of government and non-government school registration. During his time at the Victorian Registration and Qualifications Authority (VRQA), Ade oversaw the registration of more than 80 new schools and the incorporation of all Catholic Schools as part of the response to the Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse. Ade also acted as the Deputy CEO, Schools & Deputy CEO Skills and Training at the VRQA.
Ade’s most recent role was Director, Registration and Courses at Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency (TEQSA). Ade led the team responsible for the assessment of higher education registration applications and was the delegate for course accreditation approvals. Ade established TEQSA's centralised general enquiries team.
Ade previously practised as a legal practitioner and also holds a Masters in Project Management. Ade now runs his consulting services in collaboration with former and retired regulatory staff.
